Lorraine begins another course of Sing-a-long-a Sandwich

Sing-a-long-a Sandwich is a great event in Brighton at the Pavilion theatre and encourages people to come out during their lunch break and get singing for an hour.  Lorraine leads the proceedings with rounds, techniques and pop songs with great backing tracks.  Guaranteed to get you singing and swinging back in to work with a smile!

Best gig of the year and sure to end up on Youtube. Duckie is a wonderful place – probably Lorraine's best venue in the whole world. With a red velvet curtain and a high stage with a wonderful audience – what can be better than this!? Great atmosphere!

Charity Night for raising money for HIV positive people in East London.

The tickets will be £15 and the tickets will be on sale online..
The doors will open at 7/7.30 with the show starting about 8.30.

Lorraine will star with other performers on a really good night out with ticket proceeds to a really good charity. See you there.

JULY

4^th July – PRIVATE PARTY

Lorraine is once again booked to get someone's birthday bash going! She's the Hostess with the Mostess and can boss everyone around and get them doing the hokey cokey like you've never seen before! Even Aunty Jean will join in! If you want Lorraine to perform songs and get everyone going at your party just get in contact on the CONTACT page!

SHOWS

Lorraine has performed in many venues/parties/clubs/festivals all over the world. Here are some of the things you can book her for!

CLUBS AND PUBS
From Moscow to Minorca, Heaven (London) to Cassero (Bologna).
She doesn't let a foreign language put her off!

PRIVATE PARTIES
Houses, barns, around swimming pools and in gardens – you name it , she's done it. Ask for a tech sheet for requirements. The event just has to be big enough to hold your friends, a PA and engineer. Lorraine has even performed in people's front rooms! Very hilarious! Just get in touch and Lorraine will sort out a good set for your party

CIVIL PARTNERSHIPS and WEDDINGS
The bookings are now coming in for those lovely new Civil partnerships! Lorraine will sing some lovely lovey songs and get your guests a-giggling. Something a bit different from those tordrid discos with 70s flashing lights (although Lorraine and those go well together)…

FESTIVALS
Lorraine has performed at the Vancouver Comedy Festival, Milan International Lounge Music Festival, Gmunden Music Festival, Edinburgh Festival, Scotland, Fringe Festivals in Canada and USA and Alpine Woodstock Festival in Switzerland. This year Lorraine is hosting and performing on the first evening of the Big Chill Festival in Eastnor.

ARTY PLACES
Komedia in Brighton, Fashion Show in Milan, special concert outside the National Theatre in London, Luna Park in West Hollywood, LA, The IKEA Store at Lake

WILD PLACES – the wilder and weirder the better!

Lorraine was invited to perform on a three day event on a train! From the Austrian border to the Czech Republic - singing lullabies and performing in bars along the way with 30 other performers.  An incredible trip!
 

LORRAINE BOWEN BARGES IN!

Lorraine performed a one-off barge show involving any song with a water theme, a fish dress, Roger the cabin boy doing a knot competition and Lorraine conducted the City of Brighton Gay Men's Chorus in two medleys of sea shanties.  A rolloping success, it had the whole audience laughing and giggling along with Lorraine's many hits and funny bits.

LORRAINE BOWEN'S PYJAMA PARTY.
Lorraine has devised a great show involving her songs with party games to get people up and moving! A great fun performance at pubs, clubs and Civil Partnership parties. Expect the Spaghetti Cha Cha where 6 couples dance around with un-cooked spaghetti between their lips…. Lorraine sings her Christina Arguillera cover-version "Ain't No Other Man"… Musical Statues to the Crumble Song to win one of Lorraine's fabulous CDs! And a finales conga with her Tee Tee Co Co song can find yourself dancing outside the venue! She has great versions of the Hokey Pokey and can organise community dances so that even your gran can join in!

LORRAINE BOWEN'S VITAL ORGANS.
A fabulous show involving demonstrations of organs Lorraine has collected over the past twenty years!  Performed at Manchester's "Queer Up North" festival and ten shows at the Drill Hall in central London, the audience gasped as she bought out the finale organ, Billy Bragg's Omnichord, given to Lorraine for services rendered as his singing teacher

LULLABY
Was a two night sleep-over show which involved the audience bringing their pyjamas and being lulled to sleep by Lorraine singing lullabies, tea-ladies bringing out cocoa drinks, midnight feasts and dancers "counting sheep". The event was held in East London's Circus Space and promoted by the cult organisation, Duckie. A huge success - sold out.

ON THE PISTE
Was a fantastic evening running with the theme of Austrian ledehosen, dancers from the Swiss Centre, handbell ringing, human avalanches and party games! Lorraine conceived the idea for the Croydon arts centre, organised the performers, compiled the make-up of the evening, hosted and sang on these evenings!

NIGHT OF A THOUSAND SLAPPERS
Croydon Clocktower again - Lorraine sold out her innocent reputation and conceived and hosted the tongue-in-cheek evening for Croydigras - hiring drag queens, erotic male dancers, naughty stand-up comics and a Shirley Bassey sing-a-like with a dirty DJ spinning discs till dawn. It was quite an event and got huge publicity!

ENGLISH CHANSONS
English Chansons evening at the Drill Hall was a performance of Lorraine's slower and beautiful ballads. She arranged her music specifically for this event to include instruments and musicians: piano (David Appleton), trumpet, flugelhorn (Dave Woodhead) and cello (Jo Ann Cox). Songs included The Pier Song, Going Home Late and Sunday Afternoon Sex,
